Final Portfolio Target Audience Statement

My intended message for my final portfolio is for potential employers to understand what I am capable of making, whether it be something for Photoshop, Audacity, iMovie, or InDesign. After looking through my portfolio I want potential employers to leave my portfolio knowing that I either have the skills or do not have the skills they are looking for in an employee. Emotionally, I want the audience to respond with a positive outlook of how much I can impact their company.
My target audience will be advertising employers who work for a steady company. I would want them to have a good and steady income because that means that I can hopefully get a good job for a good company. They do not have to have a particular marital status, household size, gender, age, or race. I would rather my target audience be employers in North Carolina, near High Point University, or in New Jersey or New York for while I am at home. As of right now I would like an internship while I am a student so I would want my target audience to be employers seeking interns for advertising. Interests of my target audience include advertising for magazines, newspapers, or television. I would like them to have a successful attitude when it comes to the working world and I would want them to have experience in the advertising field so I can learn new things from them as an intern.
The way I set up my portfolio will hopefully be east for employers to move easily throughout my webpage. I provided different tabs for all of the things I think employers would want to see, like my biography, my resume, contact information videos I have done, photos I have done and played around with on Photoshop, and brochures I have made using InDesign. The design of my portfolio reinforced the intended message I am trying to get across by being bale to easily move about my portfolio and easily access projects I have done and information about myself.

How To Make a Rainbow Bunt Cake-Target Audience Statement

I want the message of my “how to” video to be that anyone can bake as long as you are provided with each step that goes into what you are baking. My goal is for people to be able to make a rainbow bunt cake by following the simple steps I showed in my video. I want the audience to respond by thinking that they can easily make this cake.
The age of my target audience is basically anyone who is old enough to handle an oven. Baking shows are usually geared toward women but my “how to” video is geared toward both men and woman because I want everyone to feel like they can bake this item. I am not trying to target an audience with a certain income because a lot of people in all different classes like to bake. If I had to choose I would probably say my target audience falls under middle class and upper class because they may have more time to bake. I want people form all over to be able to watch my video and know how easy it is to make a rainbow bunt cake. People who are single or married can bake because you can always bring a cake to a gathering. You do not have to go to college or graduate high school to be able to bake this cake; so all education levels are included in my target audience. My target audience’s main interest would have to be baking and cooking and people who just want to entertain. Their hobbies would also include cooking. Their attitudes are the type of attitude that is willing to try new things. My target audience’s values are family-oriented because they can make this for the family and generous because they are willing to make this cake for someone else. No common experiences are required because anyone can bake as long as they really try.
The design of my project reinforces the intended message because my video is designed to show people each step you have to take to make a rainbow bunt cake and each step is described in my video.
